The judge, Eric Moye, is a huge Obama supporter and radical leftist.

His position was that this woman opening her business, backed by science showing that she did so at effectively zero risk to anybody, in order to make some money to feed her children, was just an evil that couldn’t be tolerated. His real motives were to do his part to keep the economy down in order to hurt Trump, and to send a message of humiliation and power to people in the right wing. In other words, she was a political prisoner.

The judge trying to humiliate her, and below that is her defiant response:

Excerpted From The Daily Caller: Dallas salon owner Shelley Luther burst into tears of joy after being freed from jail on Thursday thanks to an order from the Supreme Court of Texas.

The Salon A La Mode owner was jailed Tuesday for seven days after refusing District Judge Eric Moye’s request to apologize and admit that her insistence on keeping her business open was “selfish.”

Luther had opened her business last Friday in spite of a state order banning all “non-essential” businesses, and had refused several court orders to comply. Addressing Moye on Monday before being jailed, Luther insisted that “feeding my kids is not selfish.”

“I have hairstylists that are going hungry because they would rather feed their kids,” she said. “So sir, if you think the law is more important than kids getting fed, then please go ahead with your decision. But I am not going to shut the salon.”
